Training on V2X Connectivity and Testing Services
01
Project
This project is focuses on training the BasqueCCAM team
02
Targets
To acquire skills and expertise in V2X connectivity, covering both short- and long-range communication technologies.
03
Collaboration
The project has involved participation from Basque public administrations, technology companies, and research centers, coordinated by BasqueCCAM
This project is part of Mercedes’ PERTE for the Electric and Connected Vehicle (VEC) initiative and focuses on training the BasqueCCAM team in the technologies and knowledge required to lead the state of the art in the deployment of validation environments, methodologies, and services related to connected, electric, and progressively automated vehicles.
- To acquire skills and expertise in V2X connectivity, covering both short- and long-range communication technologies.
- To develop knowledge and capabilities related to the validation of connected vehicles. This includes a progressive integration of automation and the understanding of how emerging validation and quality assurance methodologies can address these future needs.
- To gain additional knowledge in disruptive technologies with the potential to reshape automotive and mobility processes, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks — for instance, AI-based systems and scenario-based validation approaches.
The project has involved participation from Basque public administrations, technology companies, and research centers, coordinated by BasqueCCAM.
It has deployed solutions that lay the groundwork for future commercial implementation of CCAM services, positioning the Basque Country as a European reference for validation and certification of connected vehicle technologies.
